Application Logs
View internal application events for troubleshooting. If something is not working correctly, the logs can help identify the issue.
8.8 — Viewing Application Logs
The Logs page shows a list of events that have occurred within the app. Each entry includes a timestamp, a severity level, a category, a message, and (if applicable) error details. This information is mainly useful if you need to report a problem.
How to view logs
- Open the Settings Hub (gear icon in the title bar) and click Logs in the left navigation pane.
- The log entries appear in a list. Each row shows:
- Timestamp — The exact date and time the event occurred.
- Level — The severity of the event (e.g., Information, Warning, Error).
- Category — The part of the app that generated the event.
- Message — A description of what happened.
- Exception — Additional error details, if any.
Refreshing the log list
- Click the Refresh button to reload the log entries with the latest events.
Copying logs to clipboard
- Click the Copy to Clipboard button.
- All log entries are copied to your clipboard as text. You can then paste them into an email or a message to share with support or for your own reference.
Tip: If you experience an issue and want to report it, copy the logs and include them in your message. They provide valuable context for diagnosing problems.
