Keyboard Shortcuts
Use these keyboard shortcuts to work faster in MnemoDeck. All shortcuts work while the relevant page or editor is active.
Text Formatting (Rich Text Editor)
These shortcuts work inside the rich text editors for Description, Example, and Note fields on the Add / Edit Card page.
| Shortcut | Action | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Ctrl + B | Bold | Makes the selected text bold, or starts bold mode if no text is selected. |
| Ctrl + I | Italic | Makes the selected text italic, or starts italic mode if no text is selected. |
| Ctrl + U | Underline | Adds an underline to the selected text, or starts underline mode if no text is selected. |
| Ctrl + K | Insert Hyperlink | Opens the Insert Hyperlink dialog where you can add a clickable web link to your card content. |
Card Reordering (Custom Sort Mode)
These shortcuts work on the Add / Edit Card page when the deck has Custom card order enabled. A card must be selected in the card list for these to work.
| Shortcut | Action | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Alt + ↑ | Move Up | Moves the selected card one position up in the card list. |
| Alt + ↓ | Move Down | Moves the selected card one position down in the card list. |
| Alt + → | Make Sub-item | Indents the selected card to become a child (sub-item) of the card directly above it. |
| Alt + ← | Promote to Top-level | Removes the indentation from a sub-item card, making it a top-level card again. |

These are Windows system shortcuts that are useful within MnemoDeck.
